Business Configuration
Overview
Business Configuration determines the settings for the way currency, dates, and times are displayed in the Work Portal. The Menu is found in the Configuration Tab as shown below:
In the Business Configuration menu, the user will find four main groups of options to change the Project's settings:
- Language: This option allows you to enable the languages (Language, Country, and Culture Name) that will be available for your project.
- Localization: This group of options allows the administration of the regional configuration for the Bizagi project, including culture, date, time, and currency format.
- Notifications: You can customize the body of automatic notifications messages to include the desired information.
- Advanced: This group of options allows the configuration of the general display parameters for the Bizagi project.
Language
This option allows you to enable the languages (Language, Country, and Culture Name) that will be available for your project.
To enable languages, check the Enabled box(es) corresponding to the language(s) you want to support.

Localization
This group of options allows the administration of the regional configuration for the Bizagi project, including culture, date, time, and currency format. To change any configuration, click on the desired value in the dropdown list of each option. Then click OK.
The available options in the Localization group are:

| Global Culture | Defines the culture for the application, including the text and calendar to be used. |
| Short Time Format | Defines the short time format. |
| Short Date Format | Defines the short date format. |
| Long Date Format | Defines the date format used to display the creation date and solution date in the Work Area. |
| Decimal Digits | Defines the number of decimal digits in numeric values. |
| Currency Symbol | Defines the currency symbol displayed before the value. |
| Decimal Separator | Defines the decimal separator character. |
| Thousands Separator | Defines the thousands separator character. |
| Server Time Zone | Defines the time zone used in the Web Server. If your project requires multiple users to be in different time zones, this parameter is a must. |
Date Time Currency and Number Format
The format that is shown in the Work Portal for each user depends on the configuration of the user's language, the Global Culture, and the values set in the Business configuration.

If there is a defined Culture and the date and number formats are NOT defined, the symbols that appear in the Work Portal will be those corresponding to the Culture.

If there is a defined Culture and the date and number formats ARE defined, the symbols that appear in the Work Portal will be those corresponding to the defined formats.

If there is NO defined Culture and the date and number formats are NOT defined, the symbols that appear in the Work Portal depend on whether the user has a selected language:
- If the user has a selected language, the formats will be those corresponding to the chosen language.
- If the user does NOT have a language, the formats will be those of the English culture that Bizagi has by default.

If there is NOT a defined Culture and the date and number formats ARE defined, the symbols that appear in the Work Portal will be those corresponding to the defined formats.

Notifications
You can customize the body of automatic notifications messages to include the desired information.
Automatic notifications are email messages sent to end users to inform about canceled cases, delayed activities, and assigned tasks.
To customize the body of a specific notification, click the Edit option. A new window will display to modify the Name, Subject, and text of the message body.

| Task notification | These messages are sent as soon as a task has been allocated. Since a task can be allocated to several people, the notification is sent to everyone assigned to the activity. |
| Cancel notification | These notifications are sent as soon as a case has been canceled to everyone that is currently allocated to an Activity of the case. |
| Task alarm notification | These notifications are sent when an Alarm has been configured for a specific task of the Process. |
| Notify on plan assignment | These notifications are sent when an activity in a plan executes. The message is sent to the assignee and delegated users. |
Advanced
This group of options allows the configuration of the general display parameters for the Bizagi project.

| Default Assignment User Group | Defines the Default user group for assignments when no user meets the allocation conditions. |
| Show Events and Tasks in search results | Shows the Events in the case area. |
| Hide Task Types in State Log | Hides tasks that have no direct interaction with the user. |
| Group Cases by Case Number | Group case lists by case number. When this option is enabled, the sort cases in the Inbox is disabled. |
| Enable Read Only Mode For allocation Type Everyone | Enables the take ownership/release functionality for tasks assigned to everyone. |
| Always enable Release button on read-only mode | This checkbox enables the release button to appear on the Work Portal after taking ownership of the task. |
| User Preferences form | Allows editing of user properties within a specific form. |
| View Files Content as | Defines how files shown in the Work Portal should download: in a new browser window or a download window. |
| Content Types | Defines the content type for uploaded files. Configure the file extension and associated application to display files. |
